The installation "They Also Faced the Sea" has suffered from the same harsh elements that have weathered the real-life faces of local fishermen.

Provincetown Favorite Place: "They Also Faced the Sea" Art Installation at the Fisherman's Wharf . Large black & white portraits of Portuguse women by Provincetown photographer Norma Holt are mounted on the Fishermen's Wharf building. The installation was a concept of Ewa Nogiec, the Polish painter and photographer, who has lived on Cape Cod.
