#1 · Jan 25, 2007 my wife has a 2001 pt cruiser with a NA 2.4L.. long story short her timing belt broke. we tore down the block and found valve and piston damage.. looking to get a new engine to drop in and thought i would research possible srt4 swap if it is possible seeing that they are both a 2.4L engine.. any feedback would be appreciated.
