The ride from Big Sur proper to Point 16 (which lies on the southern Big Sur coast) is around 35 minutes. One thing to note when getting married in Big Sur is that it's Big Sur for a reason: unrivaled views, towering redwoods, hidden canyons with waterfalls & scattered spectacular beaches.

A Big Sur Affair Catering by Cheri Gladstone manages Point 16. There are no large indoor facilities at Point 16, excluding the Bridal Cottage & the bathroom aptly called The Loo With A View. The kitchen is entirely outdoors & guests can watch all the food being prepared en plein air. The property is owned by Monterey Congressmen Sam Farr.

Miriam and Jeffrey wedding at gorgeous and ever improving, Point 16 in Big Sur, California, is one of my favorite venues in the whole entire world. This place is a magical setting, and we have captured so many wonderful celebrations there over the years. Their 100 guests came from all over the country and were greeted with a pre-ceremony.
