The F-14 has variable ramps (Air Inlet Control System) inside the air inlets, along with a bleed air door on top. These are used to adjust the airflow so that subsonic air is directed to the engines. So I was wondering if anyone knows of, or has tried to fit the little 'box' with the hydraulic actuator for the variable inlet ramps that sit below the bypass vent from the zactoman 1/32 f-14 intake set to the Tamiya 1/32 F-14?

On the Fightertown sheet, it shows AB-102 having the dark ghost grey under the wing gloves and the whole intake tunnels in the same colour, while a line jet has these areas in light ghost grey. As I found out yesterday, Hasegawa instructions don't always show the medium blue grey (Black Knight 100 is in three tones, the instructions give only two ).
