Mister Ed's Elephant Museum came to be in 1983; in 2010, it was struck by tragedy when it burnt down. More than 2,000 elephants were lost in the flames, but thanks to Mister Ed's determination and the generosity of many who donated new elephants, the museum reopened less than a year later.
