The 51st annual Blessing of the Bikes is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21, at the Baldwin Municipal Airport, 7038 S. M-37, with the blessing of motorcyclists scheduled at 1 p.m. Also at the event will be vendors, food, official Blessing of the Bikes apparel and live music by the Briar Payne Band.

The blessing itself will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at the Baldwin Airport. A market place will be set up near Wenger Pavilion in downtown Baldwin and will be open from 9 a.m. until dark. Several other businesses in the area will be out in force for the weekend as well. Visitors can also check out other events like watching the airborne.
