Completed in 1948, the women's dormitory named for Elida Yakeley is physically connected to Gilchrist Hall. Brody Neighborhood Armstrong W. G. Armstrong's most significant contribution to Michigan State was serving on its governing body, the State Board of Agriculture (now MSU Board of Trustees) from 1944 to 1954.

I'm staying at Armstrong Hall in Brody for my upcoming freshman year at MSU. I was hoping to hear from some others about what to expect, some things to do on campus during welcome week, really anything you'd like to share would definitely be helpful to prepare me! I was in Bryan last year (neighbor of Armstrong).

South Neighborhood is located southwest of Spartan Stadium between West Shaw Lane and Trowbridge Road. It is near the Breslin Center, Munn Ice Arena, IM Sports West and outdoor tennis facilities. South Neighborhood is made up of four residence halls (Case, Wonders, Holden and Wilson halls), which all feature coed floors and suite-style rooms.

Armstrong Hall. Originally the English-Education Building, it was named in honor of Grace Armstrong in 1967. Armstrong taught Education courses from 1927 until her retirement in 1963 as the longest serving member of the Division of Professional Education. Upon its completion the building had 65 classrooms and 125 offices. Year Completed: 1964

Our Students. The SAA MA Program has two cohorts of graduate students (commonly referred to as the first-year cohort and the second-year cohort). At any given time, there are 30-40 SAA MA students enrolled in the program between both cohorts. Each incoming class brings together an experientially diverse group of 15-20 students.

Armstrong Hall, home to various general education classes for students at Minnesota State University, Mankato, is set to be demolished and rebuilt in the upcoming year. But instead of rebuilding at its current location, plans call for Armstrong to be relocated next to the Performing Arts Building.

A new beginning in Armstrong Hall for the College of Liberal Arts and
Armstrong Hall is chill. The rooms are a nice size. 3 people is a squeeze but its doable. As a comp sci major, your classes will be kinda far if they're in the engineering building but any classes in south neighborhood will just be a relatively short walk away, about 15 mins or less. A large portion of the engineering majors live in South tho.
