I am upgrading the Transmission wiring harness on my 1991 standard cab 2W C2500 Chevy truck. The old internal 4l80e is flawed. It is prone to leaking fluid into the plug and shorting the electrical wiring out causing all kinds of problems. I have replaced the internal harness in the tranny. And also the external harness that plugs into the tranny.
