Today I had a call off a customer with a VW polo and the fault code 01044 with a request for me to come out mobile and help diagnose the fault. The customer was using a recently supplied Autel 908s from myself. The customer in question however also had a genuine VCDS cable and using the excellent Teamviewer I logged in remotely to take a look.

I dont remember the exact code before fixing the moduel but it was something like there was no communication between the module and the ECU.
