Pros: Despite all the good reviews, Withies did look rather unprepossessing at first sight - an olde country pub, both inside and out. But: very friendly and helpful staff, who seemed to enjoy working there; lovely bar supper and very good breakfast; and the guest rooms very nice - newly done, well equipped, simple and nice decor, small-ish room and en-suite shower room, but perfectly adequate.
