The Monsal Dale Walk is a fantastic walking route that will allow you to experience a number of different terrain types throughout the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The trail sets out from Monsal Head and traverses some scenic farmland to the east before looping back to cross over the River Wye along the Monsal Dale Viaduct.

Getting to the Monsal Head and Wyedale Circular Walk Trailhead. To reach the car park for the Monsal Head and Wydale Circular from Bakewell, drive northwest on Buxton Road/A6 for 2.3 km and turn right onto A6020. After 0.2 km, turn left onto Betty Lane and follow it for 110 m before turning right onto Greaves Lane.
