Inch Beach (or Inch Strand) is arguably one of the most popular beaches near Dingle, and for good reason. This is a long sandy beach, 5.5km long, jutting out into Dingle Bay. It faces right into the Atlantic Ocean and is backed by some impressive sand dunes.

Inch beach is an absolute must-stop on the Dingle Peninsula route. This beach is truly a majestic place. There are a few spots on this planet that share the wild-natured spirit of this place. You will be surrounded by gorgeous scenery with soaring dunes, the Dingle peninsula, the Iveragh peninsula, and the McGillicuddy Reeks across the bay. The beach is clean and there are great facilities.

The road meets R561 about 1km east of Inch Beach. The 31km drive will take at least 30 minutes. Bus service is available to Inch from both cities. The stop at Inch is on the Killarney-Dingle route (Bus 288). If you're traveling from Tralee, you'll have take Bus 275 to Dingle first, then backtrack to Inch on Bus 288.

The Inch Beach stretches similar to a narrow peninsula with a length of 5.5 km into Dingle Bay. To the west, the headland is flanked by a beautiful sandy beach. An extensive dune bordering the beach to the east. Inch Strand is an extremely popular destination during the summer months.

The village of Inch is on the southern shores of the Dingle Peninsula on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way in County Kerry. It is best known for its 5km Blue Flag beach which stretches across Dingle Bay, taking in the magnificent views of the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry (Iveragh Peninsula) with the backdrop of the Slieve Mish Mountains and the MacGillycuddy Reeks to the south east.
