Color Scheme Ideas. I'm getting into the idea of building a Grey Knight army for the first time. I like the lore I've read up on so far, and I was wondering what I can paint this army to make it stand out. Soul Glaive- Upgrades a Halberd with an extra -1 AP, and grants reroll hits and wounds. Nice and reliable for a footslogger, if not as flashy or useful as other Relics. Destroyer of Crys'yllix- Puts -1 AP and +1 Dmg on a Daemon Hammer. Still has the -1 to Hit, but when it hits it should put down most things.

In an Index Astartes article some time back in WD (260s??) that featured both the Grey Knights and Deathwatch, the Grey Knights were shown to have Black armour (also armour type was more like standard SM PA & TDA).As well, in a novel (cannot remember which), their armour was described as "burnished blue-silver metal".

Step 2.6. For the white areas of the model base coat with Fenrisian Grey. 2 coats. Step 2.7. Then highlight with Ulthuan Grey. 1 coat. It's not that the colours won't work - I converted up some thousand sons pre heresy using the GK kits but I ended up having to remove/cover so much of what made it a grey knight I might as well have used any terminator.
