The Bradford on Avon Green Man Festival is a free, family friendly community event of traditional dance, music, song and folklore across the town centre on Saturday 13 th May 2023. This year we have around 36 dance groups (over 300 dancers and 100 musicians), our 10′ giant Jack in the Green leads the day with dancing at 9 town centre.

2019 Green Man Festival Welcome Our third annual event will be bigger and better than ever so put the date in your diary - Saturday 16th May 2020. Our festival is all about the dancing, so at the heart of our day are: Morris dancers of every shade including Border, Cotswold, Jig, Longsword, NW Clog, Molly, Rapper and Stave dancers.

Dance Locations For 2024 we will have at least eight dance venues, one in each of our main festival venues as listed below. At least one will have a covered wooden dance floor and we are aiming for all to have an alternative location if it is wet. At least four more dance venues are available if we need them.
