Moto Guzzi Spada Sold.
The SP features a 75 horsepower, 948cc V-Twin engine and a 5-speed transmission. Dry weight was about 460 pounds and the top speed was approximately 120 miles per hour. Like many other MGs of the day, the Spada featured Guzzi's "Integral Braking System" - depressing the rear brake pedal actuates the rear disc and one of the front discs.

The 1000cc engine pushed out about 75 horsepower, yielding a top speed of 116 miles per hour. The bike weighed 460 pounds dry and according to contemporary reviews, had good handling and a fantastic integrated braking system. The front suspension was a Moto Guzzi telescopic air fork with pressure equalizer while the rear was equipped with a Swinging fork with adjusable hydraulic dampers. . IT looks like being a case of "third time lucky" for Moto Guzzi's Spada III. The Italian motorcycle manufacturer's third attempt at a gentleman's tourer with a bit of oomph is by far its most successful. The original Spada, which came out in 1979, was let down by a poor quality of finish.
