M2A2 light Tank 'US Army 1940 Tank, Military vehicles, War tank
The M2 Light is a pre-WW2 light tank from 1935 which saw limited use in WW2. The tank was originally developed from the T2E1 Light Tank prototype. The tank was then kept as a training vehicle due to being obsolete by December 1941, although 50 saw action in Guadalcanal. This tank was the predecessor of the M3 (and latter M5) Stuart Light tank and was what led to the development of the tanks.
