Corvette is great, I engineered what I could on her, and ended up on 30ly jump range, compared to 40ly on my Anaconda, while being more manouverable in and out of supercruise, with better shields, and bigger optional internals.

The conda has more hardpoints and more options because of that, while the vette relies almost entirely on the two huge ones on top. The vette has far less jump range but way better turn ability and survivability.

#1 One Eye Jack Nov 21, 2017 @ 12:56pm Both ships are overpowered for PVE so if you don't want to make a lot of jumps the go for the Conda. I love both ships. Basically the Corvette is the better ship in combat. More agile and faster plus more firepower. It's a bit like a massive version of the Vulture. Or a cross between the Conda and the Vulture.

Corvette is a better at combat (not by a huge margin, but definitely better) roughly on par as a multi-role, and significantly worse as an explorer. The jump range is a big plus for the Anaconda due to the sheer convenience of it. Corvette can get around just fine with a G5 FSD, but it'll take a bit longer to get there.

It's not quite that much, my A rated cutter was less than that with reactive armour and size 8 prismatics. I think my Corvette is around 900mil also with reactive etc.

Think of a Corvette as a (externally) bigger, more heavily armed and shielded Anaconda, with comparable X/Y/Z performance but unfavorable jump-range compared to the Anaconda. The Anaconda, on the other hand is physically smaller and just a tiny bit more maneuverable and quicker with (IMO) greater role-flexibility than the Corvette.
