Priming and Pre-Inking. Miniatures after priming in Army Painter color Skeleton Bone, then washed with Zombicide Set Zombie Shader. A few sites recommend gluing the sand before priming, but the primer cause the glue to separate from the boardgame plastic. Remedied by painting the base black.

May 7, 2022 I have been trying a few different washes on various hard plastic minis: 1. Army Painter - QuickShade 2. Citadel (Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil, etc.) Most of these are drying with a very noticeable gloss/sheen. Does anyone have advice on how to prevent this gloss? Am I applying them incorrectly?

I started with an army painter set (20 colors). My skills are growing quite quickly and I'm starting to feel the limitations of the army painter paint when going for really smooth blends for example. Plus I'm in need of much more colors for experimenting. I'l thinking about the full scale75 scalecolor set.
