I need an explanation as to why my Office 365 clients (who do not use OneDrive/SharePoint/Exchange Online to sync data) over the last 6 hours have transferred over 30GB(?!) of data between the officecdn.microsoft.com.edgesuite.net and other delivery systems (2.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com, 7.au.download.windowsupdate.com, etc.) causing connectivity issues resulting from saturating my network.
edgesuit.net is a domain for Akamai CDN, that Microsoft uses. It's common for large files to be served over CDNs. You can verify this by checking the WHOIS of the domain
