Ek 04 Mini Controller Schematic
I have a few sets of aliexpress fairy lights with an 8-mode controller marked EK-04. The mode resets every time they're powered off, so I need to hit the button 7 times to get back to steady on every time I plug them in. What do I need to connect to what in order to remove the controller altogether? I'll never need these lights to blink again.

They're controlled by an "EK-04 mini controller" which has 8 functions, the last of which is solid on. Having to go press a button 7 times to get the desired setting sort of defeats the point.. IIRC the output from the controller is 3 wires, 2 for the LEDs, powering alternate lights, and then a common ground. I'm not sure what the output.

LED fairy lights sold here typically run on ELV, 12 or 24 volts via a power supply. So I doubt if you find that controller for a couple of pounds.
