I recently picked up a non-running 1978 Honda CB400 Hawk. Odometer shows about 5500 miles (assuming it is working) and the bike had some melted wires in the wiring harness. I sourced a used harness off eBay and replaced it as well as the battery. Headlight, blinkers, horn, gauge lights all working but when I kick over the bike with the spark.

41 posts · Joined 2019. #12 · Jun 25, 2019. My '79 Hawk CB400 T1 OEM tires were 3.60-19 Front, and 4.10-18 Rear, just like thom in the original post. And it's not too hard to find replacement tires close to those sizes, like 3.50 fronts, and 4.00 rear. Or metrics that come close.
