JERASH TO THE DEAD SEA (2-3 NIGHTS) The first day in this section of the Jordan itinerary is split in two. Get an early start from Amman and drive the straightforward one-hour route north to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Jerash. Then head south to your overnight stop along the north end of the Dead Sea.
