#1 Hi there I wonder if anyone can help with information about the 1970s version of the Grundig Audiorama speakers? There were two versions; stand mounted, or suspended. I know that they were popular in Europe but I can find no english language information about them.

Compared to the Grundig Audiorama 7000 these Nivico have less clear mids but a lot better bass. To my ears their highs do not improve (or change much) with Morel MDT30 tweeters. To try to improve the mids I'm planning to lower the crossover frequency down to 2500Hz, the Morells can probably handle the 2500-5000Hz range better that these vintage hefty woofers.
