Characteristics Designed just after the end of the War, the Conwing L-16 was one of the first "multi-purpose" aircraft, serving as either a cargo or passenger transport, or both. Designed with a roomy hull and all the features available at that time, the L-16 was the plane to end all planes.

Since my old CL215 crashed after a broken wing in flight and the MartinMars is too big for small lakes, I will start a new seaplane, probably at 60in wingspan. Conwing L-16. AKA the SEADUCK (with retractable landing gear!) When taking off from land, ACTIVATE group 2 then move VTOL slider to 25%, then DEACTIVATE group 2. Return VTOL slider to center, then ACTIVATE group 1, throttle up, take-off, slide VTOL slider to the top, and DEACTIVATE group 1. From water: same procedure, but raise gear before take.
