I never understood why it matters which part of the saber hits the cube. An angle (like, the value in degrees or radians) stays the same regardless of how far from the vertex you measure it. Unless the way Beat Saber counts the angle is it measures the travel distance/curve of one point of the saber - presumably, where it hits the block/hitbox.
