The swimming hole is very cold, but I'm used to it from the much colder rivers in the mountains in North Carolina. The water seems to be very clean and can be extremely refreshing. Forty-two million gallons of crystal clear water flow each day from Wekiwa Springs into Wekiwa Springs Run. The run joins with Rock Springs Run to form the beautiful upper Wekiva River.
