Efteling is open all year and whilst you may be tempted to go in the Summer months, it is great all year round and makes a fab European winter destination. There is plenty of parking at the hotel which is free if you are staying there. Check in is not until 3 pm and our room was not ready when we arrived.

Review of Efteling Hotel. We booked our winter weekend break as a drive not fly (one son hates flying) and weren't disappointed. Hotel is good and breakfast great. 😁. We have early teens and did the park in 2.5 days but is wasn't very busy. Caro is a must - like Cirque De Soleil - and discounted if staying in the hotel.

The hotel room, the staff, the rides, the ample and delicious breakfast, it was all a wonderful time for us and an awesome experience for our kids (ages 10 to 13). Our children had "the best time of" their lives, they repeatedly told us.
