The Klokgebouw (a factory producing phyllite, Philips' name for bakelite) is completed, followed by an appliance factory on the Hoge Rug. A machine room and boiler room are added. Strijp-S even gains a new addition. With its characteristic rounded corners, the Veemgebouw is intended as a location to store parts and products.
