De Dageraad (The Dawn) is a subsidiary to the 'Het Schip Museum'. These buildings are excellent examples of the Amsterdam school style (1910 to 1930). The attention to detail, mix of material and play in form are all on display in these buildings. I loved the combinations of brickwork, stone, metal and wood in doorways.
