Antimachia is a lovely village that lies 23 kilometres south west of Kos town and that's about a 30 minute drive. It's just 10 minutes walk from the airport or a couple of minutes in the car.

Went to Mastichari with a good Greek friend of many years and over the meal he mentioned there was a festival that evening at Antimachia, the Festival of Apostles (this was June 29th). We went there on the way back to Kardamena and what a superb evening. The church lit up,live Greek music and families and friends enjoying the food and drink.
