Villa Guicciardini Corsi Salviati, located at the entrance of the town of Sesto Fiorentino, has been attested since the beginning of the 16th century by Simone Corsi. In the middle of the seventeenth century the villa was modified by Gherardo Silvani and the Italian garden was created, including a monumental fishpond.

Villa of sixteenth-century origins situated at the base of the Maiano hill it belonged initially to the Bardi family and then passed into the ownership over time: in the sixteenth century it belonged to the Tegliacci family (hence the first name Villa Tegliaccio), then to the Salviati family, hence the name of Salviatino, to distinguish it from Villa Salviati in via Bolognese.

The villa had belonged to the Salviati family from the 15th to the 17th century. It is immersed in a 19th century garden. Sculptures and terracotta tondi by Rustici are all over the park. The Villa Salviati is a large villa situated in Tuscany, Italy which was home to Archbishop Francesco Salviati of Pisa, one of the Pazzi conspirators and member of the Roman Rite of the Templar Order.
