ShowBiz Pizza Place opened its doors on March 3, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri. The restaurant is very similar to Pizza Time Theatre and used many supplies and decorations obtained directly from Pizza Time, however there are some key differences. The Wolf Pack 5 show entertains guests every few minutes with a short show throughout the day.

Animatronics and arcades had fallen out of fashion in favor of cartoon characters and home video game consoles. So Chuck E. Cheese bought out all remaining Showbiz Pizza locations by 1992.
