Venice is an easy place to be gluten free, as Italy in general is surprisingly a very coeliac friendly country. Having lived near Venice for 10 months when I was an ERASMUS student, I decided it was about time I wrote a gluten free Venice guide for coeliac visitors!

Venice is heaven on earth - it's absolutely beautiful and, what's more, there is gluten free food to be found everywhere you look. Prepare for a LOT of pasta. The restaurants often have gluten free signs in the windows (see the pic below), and they are super clued up on cross contamination because there's a high prevalence of coeliac.
