Crona (クロナ, Kurona), often infamously referred to as the Demon Sword (魔剣, Maken), is a demon sword master whom is the biological child of the witch, Medusa Gorgon. The meister partner to actual demon sword, Ragnarok, they're driven by their mother's aim into turning them into a Kishin. Described by Franken Stein and his Soul Perception to have an "introverted" personality, Crona is.

Creation and conception. While creating Soul Eater, Atsushi Ohkubo was heavily influenced by the manga series Dr. Slump and wanted to create a story in which serious or intense action scenes would be defused or interrupted with comedic moments. The story element in which characters transform into weapons is an expansion on the idea of weapons being personified, which Ohkubo frequently saw in.

Crona in the final arc. Even though Crona is done dirty in the manga, Crona is still my favourite character in Soul Eater. Especially in the anime, Crona stays the DWMA and the only friend could understand is Maka as happy ending. Yeah, but Crona's sacrifice was still painful sealing the moon. T_T.

Crona is Ragnarok's meister, and was initially under Medusa's orders (and control) to take any soul they find, be it evil or good. Crona is a very naive and submissive person who is constantly pestered by Ragnarok in the form of noogies and threats to eat their share of food. Crona does not like to fight but Medusa normally introduces a spell.
