This is a lovely campsite on the edge of an enormous lake. There is safe swimming in the lake and we couldn't believe how warm it was. There is a cable car about 10 minutes walk from the site which goes up the mountain to a large "play" area with trampolines, go carts etc - great fun for the kids. You can then get on a chairlift to the top.

Nice holiday destination. Ossiacher See is a much quieter destination to its nearby more ritzy Worthersee. There is a ferry service and water sports to be had. Day trips to Viilach, Klagenfurt and Velden are worthwhile and a train line takes you from Villach along the northern shoreline to villages along the lake and to Feldkirch.
