Agii Apostoli beaches, just like Chryssi Akti are the local beaches of Chania as they're both really nice sandy beaches within a short driving distance of town. Agii Apostoli (the name is derived from the church of the Holy Apostles located on the promontory) consists of two sandy coves. Additionally, a little to the West there is the longer but narrower beach of Glaros which goes all the way.
