Gali Gopuram is located at 2083th step. Second level of ticket authentication will be performed after 2850 step. After Gali Gopuram, the journey will be somewhat ok. Mokala Parvatham steps will be steep and there about 640 steps to Tirumala last step. Mokalla Parvatham steps starts at 2910th step.

The total number of steps from Alipiri to Tirumala is approximately 4300 steps. Pilgrims can visit number of temples on the way to Tirumala from the Alipiri; TTD has arranged many facilities like drinking water, shades and other refreshments through out the path. There are number of shops located on the way which provides food and other goods.

On 27th October, we started climbing Tirumala via Alipiri footpath at 4:45 AM. We were given DivyaDarshan tickets at the beginning of steps and on reaching Gaaligopura the step number 2083, the darshan time slot was stamped on those tickets. We took about one hour to reach this point (Some of the slow climbers in the group took 2 hours also).
