I also have the SP 101 in 357 mag. have not had any problems shooting 300 grain 454 casull or 250 grain 44 magnum in full load. On one occasion, I shot 50 rounds each 357 magnum, 44 magnum and 70 rounds of 454 Casull without have any issues nor stinging of the hand.
