Ron Gilbert left too, I didn't mind the art style of 3, just didn't have the same dark strange ominous feeling the first two had. It's like the Diablo series, 1 and 2 were just amazing and ahead of their time and then 3 was just a cartoon with high frame rate and a sub-par hard to follow story line that didn't live up to the originals.

The only one I have on disk is 2, so I was curious whether the CD version of 2 was any different. If not, there is no reason to get it, I can just burn a copy from my disks.
