It featured an improved 16v "ROC" 2445 cc engine producing around 325 BHP. The car was built around a spaceframe (tubular) chassis, sporting conventional MacPherson strut suspension, and draped in a lightweight composite body resulting in a 1050 kg (2315 lb) weight.
