A Kossuth Lajos tér Budapest egyik legnagyobb és egyben legreprezentatívabb tere. Itt áll a magyar állami élet központja az Országház. Steindl Imre tervei szerint neogótikus stílusban épült 1884-1902 között, de belső berendezése csak 1904-re készült el. A tíz udvarra tagozódó hatalmas épülettömbnek 27 kapuja, 29 lépcsőháza van. Külső falait 88 szobor díszíti.
