Text from Dawson 1994: The vase was designed by Georges de Feure (Georges de Feure [1868-943] was of Dutch extraction, his real name being Georges Joseph van Sluijters, but lived in Paris from 1890, and was trained as a painter by Jules Chèret [1836-1933].
