Se extiende a lo largo de más 500 m. y cuya anchura máxima es de 70m, esta playa es una playa de arena blanca y grava, se encuentra situada frente al Faro del Cotillo. Se compone de pequeñas calitas separadas por muros naturales de piedra, que forman piscinas de agua cristalina.

Los Charcos son una serie de calas de arena blanca y aguas cristalinas que se suceden a lo largo de 4 kilómetros en las afueras de El Cotillo, en la costa norte de Fuerteventura, en un entorno natural desértico, a los pies del Faro del Tostón, donde la roca volcánica ha creado decenas de pequeñas piscinas naturales.

The coves are in a natural desert environment and are at the foot of El Tostón Lighthouse, where the volcanic rock has created dozens of small natural pools.

Los Charcos Beach is situated on the north west coast of Fuerteventura, this beach is popular with kite surfers as there's usually plenty of wind and big waves here.
