This is Albert's Bordeaux style red from his family estate near El Vendrell approximately 50 minutes South West of Barcelona. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon planted in the early 80's and just a splash of the local variety Sumoll. Ageing is very classic in french oak barriques. The wine is absolutely delicious with aromas of cassis, plum, graphite and tobacco. On the palate you get refined.

From a single vineyard of 100% Malvasia de Sitges. The soil is a very poor stony, calcareous clay mix, at 250 metres of altitude and just 15 km away from the Mediterranean. Fermented and aged on the lees in a blend of Big French oak barrels and clay amphora for 10 months. It is a deep, concentrated and powerful wine, with lovely deep green fruit flesh and some nicely spiced floral notes.

The red 2020 Mas Vilella Negre comes from vines planted by the father of proprietor Albert Jané in 1984 on stony soils. It is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Sumoll with high ripeness and 15% alcohol but keeping a low pH (good freshness). It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in new and second use 300- and 400-liter French oak barrels.
