La Palma Birds Laguna de Barlovento
Laguna de Barlovento is a large freshwater reservoir in the northeastern part of the island of La Palma. Its a great spot to observe rare waterbird migrants (if present of course), common waterbird species and songbirds in the surrounding thickets. The reservoir itself is used by large flocks of gulls, being mainly Yellow-legged Gull and small.
