The new 620ie is nothing radically new, just a sympathetic makeover of the smallest of three models (600, 750, 900) that make up the air-cooled Monster range. There are two versions, a standard ie and a bikini-fairinged S, with both engines benefitting from an extra 35ccs, the addition of fuel injection and second front disc.

The Ducati Monster 620 i.e. is one of the now-established line of Ducati Monster motorcycles, middleweight street / sport bikes from Ducati powered by midrange-focused V-twin engines. The Monster 620 is an update on the previous Ducati Monster 600.

This third generation Monster has been built around the frame of the 916cc-powered Monster S4 and given a suspension upgrade including a new upside down 43mm front fork, and rear suspension linkage from Ducati's Superbike. The Sachs' rear shock is adjustable for rebound and spring pre-load. Power delivery has been upgraded as well, with the 620.

there isn't a LOT available for the m620ie really. the 14t is going to be the best bang for the buck. after that, maybe a lightweight flywheel so it'll rev quicker. since your som already has an exhaust, all that left is a air filter (or velocity stacks like the TPO beast) and a power commander with a custom map. if you're so inclined, i hear th.

#1 · Jul 11, 2005 O.K., I read a bunch of threads regarding the idle of 620's, how they are low and all that. Mine would idle (when it WOULD idle) around 500 to 600 rpm. Only when hot, otherwise I needed the cold start thingy to keep it going. Other that that, it worked fine. So, I found the two air bleed screws on the injectors.

4. crankcase covers are sealed with tri-bond or whatever it's called, a liquid silicon sealant. The gear change shaft protrudes through a hole in the crsnkcase cover that has a seal in it, it may this that's shot & is leaking, a photo would help. 5. what Perry said above about belts.
