BUT, using ONLY a direct conversion using the current dollar exchange rate, they would cost around $200 to $250 each. A G36 and a B77 are such different machines, in character. It's difficult to say one is directly 'better' than the other. It depends so much on what you want from a tape recorder.

Unique about this machine is that it has 12 (!) vacuum tubes in the recording and playback circuits so it produces a very nice, rich saturated sound.
