It's Zwave support was actually amazing but was a different thing entirely written by a guy not affiliated with the project. I found it hard to keep interested in it and I hated Java.

If i saw it rigth, ioBroker would need the pro version for my use case 44,99€ every year. Home Assistant needs for my use case the cloud version which costs 75 € every year. I am more searching for a solution at 10-15€ each year or better a one time lifetime payment or an device with license like the philips hue bridge (for under 100€).

Then there is homebridge-openhab2-complete which is a plugin for homebridge that allows you to add your openhab item as a new accessory in HomeKit just by putting a name+type+OH item ID in the config.
