Programs WAPITI NORDIC SKI CLUB
The Wapiti Nordic Ski Club is one of Canada's premier cross-country skiing and biathlon facilities. It is home to the Steve Cooper Lodge which was completed in 1994 as one of the major legacies of the 1995 Canada Winter Games. There are over 35 km of trails for both classical and skate skiing, which includes the Weyerhaeuser Forest Trail.

Welcome to Wapiti Nordic! We are your outdoor wilderness gem hidden just 14km south of Grande Prairie. We have 35km of forest trails that provide an outdoor recreational adventure during our winter and summer months. In the Winter (Nov-Mar) we provide cross country skiing, hiking, fat biking and snowshoeing experiences.
