St. Leon Wind Farm (French: Parc éolien de Saint-Léon) is Manitoba's first wind farm, in St. Leon, Manitoba, Canada.In the first phase completed in 2006, 63 wind turbines were erected over a 93-square-kilometre (36 sq mi) area, capable of delivering 99 megawatts (MW). In 2011 a further 10 turbines were purchased, expanding the capacity of the project to 120 megawatts.

Welcome to The Community of Saint Léon The village of Saint Léon was established in 1877 and is recognized as the oldest established parish in the region. It is situated in the Pembina Mountain Region approximately 1.6 km (one mile) south of Provincial Trunk Highway No.23 on Road 50w, 150 km southwest of Winnipeg.

St. Léon is also known for its annual salamander migration when the little creatures scurry across Main Street by the hundreds during the hot, humid summer days at the end of August. St. Leon Wind Farm The 120 MW St. Leon wind farm, owned by Algonquin Power and Utilities Corporation commissioned in 2006, recently expanded by adding 10 turbines in the summer of 2011. St. Leon now has a total of 73 Vestas 1.65 MW turbines that are mounted 80 meter towers supplying the energy needs of over 40,000 homes.
